3/5 - Prompt Practice on Google Classroom. Review practice items from yesterday. Persuasive Article about Trash in Scope Magazines
3/6 - Prompt Practice on Google Classroom. Practice question packet. Finish Trash article work.
3/7 - Read and review Anchor Papers on VDOE website to better understand expectations. Prompt Practice on Google Classroom. Choose prompt for essay, and begin if time.
3/8 - Students will choose a prompt practice from one they did this week and turn it into an essay.

2/25 - All classes: SCOPE Magazine "Should the School Week Be Shorter" persuasive elements Scavenger hunt (claim, supporting evidence, counterclaim, and rebuttal), and Write and Argument Essay - students do NOT have to do step 7 - write the essay. HW: Vocabulary

1/11 - Field trip to the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum in Washington D.C. Please be aware that this field trip could be canceled last minute due to the U.S. Government Shutdown.
