Studio Art 2 - Mr. Guzman
For this project, the class talked about core memories and experiences on or near water and how important clean drinking water is for our health and the health of all animals and life on our planet. Then students each created an investigation guided by a core memory. All 5 of the ceramic classes participated in the installation.
Water
Water is the lifeblood of our planet. Beyond simply sustaining us, it nourishes the crops that feed our communities and provides the vital habitats where wildlife thrives.
Our most cherished memories are often built around the water—from the rhythmic surf of our beaches and the stillness of our lakes to the flow of our rivers and the simple joy of a backyard pool. Because water is an ever-present force in our lives, we are committed to celebrating it in all its forms.
We invite you to do your part in preserving our precious Florida waterways for generations to come. To learn more about how you can get involved, please explore the conservation initiatives at Miami-Dade County or visit the Miami Waterkeeper.
