This installation was created by students in Ceramics 1 and 2 classes. They each crafted various species of fish and marine life found in Biscayne Bay. Together we hope to raise awareness of the vast diversity of life that call our bay their home. All of us can help maintain and improve the water quality in the bay for future generations to enjoy. Recycle, reuse, reduce for a brighter future.

The photographs on display represent a cross section of photography classes that have dealt with the subject of environmental issues through photography. On display are images from Portraiture Photography students who worked with Pelican Harbor Research Station to create beautiful studio photographs of their ambassador animals. They also worked collaboratively with RE dancers to create portraits that capture the elements; one portrait from that collaboration is on display. Natural Light Photography has spent many hours photographing nature and their long exposure imagery is a metaphor for the changing sea level conditions here in Miami. Lastly, student winners across three sections of classes from the RE Photography contest around the theme of "the Environment" are featured on display as well.
