INTERFERES with learning
HURTS someone physically or mentally
PREVENTS you from being your best self
You shouldn't be doing it!

Classroom Expectations
1. Be in your seat when the tardy bell rings.
2. Put proper heading on ALL papers.
3. Electronic devices go in class basket, unless teacher allows you to use them.
4. Use restroom during passing breaks.
5. Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
6. Bring all your supplies to class daily.
7. Complete all of your work to the best of your ability and on time.
8. All Rankin rules and policies shall be observed within the classroom.
What are the consequences if I don't follow class rules?
What are the consequences if I don't follow class rules?
1. Warning: the teacher provides either a verbal or silent reprimand to student.
2. Take 5: 5 minutes in the hall, student will fill out behavior reflection journal, refocus and return to class.
3. Behavior Notice: refer to the behavior notice contract for more details.
4. Referral to Administration: if the behavior continues, the student will go to principal to discuss their behavior.
