Literacy is the ability to read, write, speak, and listen in a way that lets us communicate effectively and make sense of our world.
In addition to working on literacy at school, each month students will be reading a book of their choice on the month's genre assignment, and then presenting a 3 minute book talk to the class.
We will be using Amplify/Core Knowledge to meet our literacy standards this year.
