It Happened @Randolph:
Next Friday, November 18th is our Harvest Feast for teachers and students. Harvest Feast is a chance to celebrate the fruits of our labor in the garden as we create a meal to share together. It is a wonderful representation of our connection to the land, our traditions and our community. This week and next the kiddos will be working hard to make sure everything is ready for the feast. From embroidering table clothes, preparing food, moving tables and setting tables, making decorations, weighing and charting our potato harvest, learning the story of Stone Soup and creating our own recipes, and creating a school-wide dance to honor the 3 Sisters there has been a lot going on @Randolph School. Check out these pictures of your children as they embody the message from Stone Soup. When we work together and share what we have we are a stronger and happier community!
The Guardians have embraced the change in weather with a new tea set-up. The kids have been enjoying cozy cups of herbal tea to help keep them warm and focused on learning. Cheers!
