Dear RANA Family,
Khamma Ghani!!
Thank you for your overwhelming response to the RANA Yosemite Camping Summit. This is a completely sold-out event.
Here are the important camping trip details:
------------------------------------------------
Park Entrance:
------------------------------------------------
No permits or proof of reservation are required when entering the park during our event dates. However, you would need to have a Park Pass or purchase an entrance pass at the Gate.
------------------------------------------------
Check-in and Logistics:
------------------------------------------------
Please join the WhatsApp Group to stay updated with all Camping-related information.
Check-in starts at 5 PM at the housekeeping camp. RANA will check in the entire group. The first group will arrive at Yosemite around 5 PM. Most Families with Children in School head out straight after picking up their Kids from school at around 3 PM.
Please check in with the RANA EC as you arrive to get information about your cabin. We will also have your names listed on the cabins.
Please plan to check in before 7:30 pm on Friday, Sept 12th. Let any one of us know if you will be arriving later.
Bedsets: You can bring your own bedsheets, blankets, and pillows, OR You can rent Bed Packs for $15.00 per night (double bed pack) and $9.00 per night (single bed pack) at Housekeeping Camp when you arrive. The double bed pack includes two blankets, two sheets, and two pillows. The single bed pack includes one blanket, one sheet, and one pillow.
Parking: There is a 1-car parking permit provided per cabin. If you’re sharing your cabin and not carpooling, the 2nd car would have to be parked in the main lot instead of next to the cabin. Which is not far, though not right next to the cabin.
Please call Prakash Ji at (817) 564-6759 or Naresh Ji at (408) 504-3582 in case of emergency. Please keep in mind that phones may not have a good reception at various points in the park, and you will get a quicker response through WhatsApp.
