Hi Smith Scoop! We are Boring Pins!
Our shirts offer a creative and never seen before design. We started in 2019, the idea was brought up by our own Daniel Waisman, who came to some of us with his clothing line idea ... and the rest is history!
We started this business because we believe in the value of hard work. We also believe in bringing change and a solution to a problem. For that reason, we are donating a portion of the proceeds of our COVID-19 Pins and our Frontline Pins merchandise to Ramsey Strong.

Hi, my name is Kate Marie and I am a seventh grade student here at Smith School! I have been so bored during quarantine and one thing that has kept me busy is painting! I had been seeing painted jeans all over the internet, but they were SO expensive. I thought that I could do it because it looked easy and I really wanted to try it! I look forward to painting new pairs of jeans and maybe selling them one day in the future!
Painting and other forms of art can be very calming and relaxing during quarantine. I have been painting a lot during quarantine and I definitely recommend trying to paint your own jeans!
Happy Painting!
For my first attempt I decided to paint cow spots on the back pockets of my jeans! They turned out way better that I expected! I learned that the best technique is patience! You must let all paint layers dry so the colors do not mix.
One thing I had never seen were jeans with stars painted on them, it was WAY harder than it looked. At first I painted them free hand but they turned out awful, so I had to create a stencil and then trace, tape, and paint.
Once I finished my star pants I made shorts!
Senora Merritt offered extra credit to her 7th grade students that were working on their culture projects. The options were: Making Torrijas (A Spanish Easter breakfast tradition similar to French Toast), making Cascarones (confetti eggs often used to celebrate Easter in Latin America and Mexico), or writing a review of a Netflix film they watched in Spanish (with English subtitles).
Mrs. Back's 6th grade French class created statements in French about animals. Check out one student's work about lizards!
