Winter Wonderland Holiday Concert: Thursday, December 21st, 2023
4th Grade Performance @ 9:15am
5th Grade Performance @ 10:15am
Please join us for a concert to celebrate the season with the students of John Y. Dater Elementary School.
There will be two performances: the 4th grade families are invited to attend the 4th grade show, and vice versa for parents of 5th graders.
All students are asked to perform. If your student will not be in attendance on 12/21, please contact Mr Bogert to let him know. jbogert@ramsey.k12.nj.us

About the 2023 Dater School Winter Wonderland Concert
Since October, students have been preparing songs to perform for our holiday concert during our time in music class. During December, students will continue to prepare a presentation for both the parents and for the opposite grade levels. Our goal in this concert is to join all student's voices, in each grade level, to create some joyful holiday moments together, and to learn more about vocal music performance along the way.
Attire: What should my student wear for the concert?
All students should dress semi-casual in any combination in any number of the following colors: White, Gold, Red, or Cobalt Blue
Suggested Pieces:
Top: Collared Button Down Shirt (any sleeve length), Polo, Sweater, or Blouse
Bottom: Pants, Leggings, or Skirt (color: black, or one above the above colors)
Shoes: Darkest shoes available, or one of the colors listed above. Sneakers okay.
Optional, Winter Accessories: Holiday Hats, Scarves, Etc. (but keep in mind that it will be relatively warm on stage, so do dress light)
If possible, please AVOID WEARING: T-Shirts, Sweatpants, Sweatshirts, Hoodies, or any shirts with large logos or team names.
Is participation in this concert mandatory?
Short answer, yes. We would like everyone involved however, this concert is not some sort of graded-participation for music class. If your are traveling on 12/21 or, if you would like to discuss a modification for your student regarding the concert, please contact Mr. Bogert. jbogert@ramsey.k12.nj.us
