Science Fair


**Important Announcement: At this time, we are postponing the Science Fair until a later date which will be decided upon after spring break. Please hold on to your Science Fair boards until the date is decided upon. Students can continue to work on their Science Fair boards at home. Thank you 4th and 5th graders for all of your hard work on the Science Fair this year!!**

The Science Fair is open to all 4th and 5th grade students. Students may work with a partner on this project or independently. They do not have to be in the same homeroom. Please see the below information for more details!

*PLEASE NOTE* ONLY FILL OUT THIS FORM IF YOU HAVE ATTENDED THE IN CLASS MEETING (5TH GRADE) OR AFTER SCHOOL MEETING (4TH GRADE) AND SIGNED UP FOR THE SCIENCE FAIR ON THE PTO WEBSITE.

IF YOU ARE WORKING WITH A PARTNER, YOU ONLY NEED TO SUBMIT ONE FORM PER GROUP.

IF THERE IS AN ISSUE WITH YOUR SCIENCE FAIR IDEA, I WILL COME MEET WITH YOU!

Science Fair future due dates

SIGNUPS: Wednesday, January 15th 7:00 PM to Wednesday, January 22nd 3:00 PM on PTO Website .


  • Fill out Google Forms by Wednesday, January 29th:

Fill out the Google Forms Site with your Science Fair question and idea. The topic must be testable. This is a hard deadline and needs to be submitted by Wednesday evening, January 29th.

Please only fill out ONE form per group! Remember to list your first and last names as well as homeroom. There can be a MAX of 2 people on a team and you do not need to be in the same homeroom. Remember, you can work alone on this project. You do not need to work with a partner.

I will come see you and your partner if there is an issue with your Science Fair Question.


  • Friday, January 31st: Pick up Science Fair board after school only if your idea is approved. Remember, I will see you if there is an issue with the idea. This is not a meeting, you are just picking up your board. If you are working with a partner, please arrange with your partner of who will pick up the board.


  • Optional meetings until 3:15: (Please only attend these meetings if you need help or would like to work on your project. Please note, if you are working as a group all group members must be present at these optional meetings)
  • February 4th
  • February 11th
  • February 25th
  • March 3rd
  • March 10th


  • Wednesday, March 18th: Display boards are due in the morning before school! Please ONLY bring in your display board on this day. Any other materials will be brought in the night of the Science Fair.


  • Wednesday, March 18th: SCIENCE FAIR NIGHT! -7:00 PM TO 8:30 PM- Students may come in early at 6:30 PM to set up!
