The Best of Ramsey School District (or at least what would fit on two tidy pages!) – This is the perfect nutshell guide for realtors, those looking to move to Ramsey, or newcomers to our terrific town.

For parents who are new to Ramsey, we offer this page of information that includes links to student registration and health forms, school district policies, attendance and transportation details, and other useful materials.

Our High School regularly gets the spotlight, but Smith Middle School is a force in its own right. At Smith, we let kids be kids while also giving them opportunities to further explore who they are and where they want to go.

Beyond the school buildings, our award-winning Stigma Free program normalizes conversations about mental health and helps us create an environment that values empathy and understanding.

We are dedicated to preparing all students to be capable and confident lifelong learners. The multi-disciplinary child study team of our Department of Special Services collaborates with students, parents, teachers, and support staff to develop goals and instruction plans that maximize academic success, recognize students' potential and foster social and emotional development.

We are fortunate to have a supportive Ramsey Public Education Foundation that channels volunteer power to fund enrichment programs and innovative technologies to benefit all our schools.

Our focus is teaching children, but we organize and host Parent Academies, often with guest speakers and frank discussion, to share information and insights about trends that can be “hotspots.”

Through our Rising Rams initiative, we engage parents whose children are too young to be enrolled, but not too young to be welcomed to the Ramsey school family!
