Ray Miller is an Associate Professor of Economics.  He is also a faculty affiliate at the Colorado School of Public Health, the Columbine Health Systems Center for Healthy Aging, and the Regional Economic Development Institute (REDI@CSU). His research investigates the determinants and consequences of health disparities and social inequality. Research interests include the lasting impact of early health disparities, health and education policy, caregiving,  population aging, and the inequality of health and economic well-being among older populations.

Dr. Miller received his doctorate in Economics from the University of Pittsburgh in 2015. He previously worked as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the Harvard Center for Population and Development Studies and Research Fellow in the Program on the Global Demography of Aging, as well as for the American Institutes for Research, a behavioral and social science research and evaluation organization in Washington DC.
