Located in downtown Casa Grande, Arizona, the historic Paramount Theatre first opened its doors on December 24, 1929, quickly becoming a central gathering place for entertainment and community events. Over the decades, the theater experienced several changes, including closing in 1939, new ownership in 1942, and renovations in the 1970s that altered parts of its original design.
After years of decline, the theater closed in 1992 and faced possible demolition. In 1993, it was purchased at a tax auction by Deborah Martin (present owner) and restoration efforts began. The Paramount was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1999, and after extensive restoration, it officially reopened in 2003 - restoring its role as a hub for arts, entertainment, and community gatherings.
Recently, the next chapter began as the Ramos family, under Ramos Grand Enterprise, proudly acquired the Paramount. As a family deeply rooted in community and entrepreneurship, we are honored to continue the legacy of this historic theater. We’re excited to bring even more events, entertainment, and opportunities for people to gather together -keeping the Paramount alive as a place where our community can connect, celebrate, and create lasting memories. 🎭✨
