The James Dukes PTA provides enriching activities for the school, students, and their families.  This is only possible with the help of volunteers like you!  Studies show that parental involvement in a child’s education is one of the most important factors in raising self-esteem and academic achievement.  We realize that each of our families is unique.  Our talents and schedules may be different, but our goals are the same; to provide an exciting, safe, well-rounded educational experience for our children while making lasting memories.  That is why we provide many different volunteer roles to allow everyone to be involved.  Parents, guardians, grandparents, and friends are all encouraged to help.  There is never time spent or a job too small that doesn’t have a significant impact.
