Join a test meeting and follow the prompts to make sure your audio and video are working (more detailed instructions)

You can also use the test meeting to practice Zoom features to use in class

Click on the microphone in the bottom left corner to mute or unmute your mic

It is best to keep your microphone muted unless your teacher wants you to speak

Click on the Participants button to see a list of who is in the meeting

Click on the Participants button to raise (or lower) your hand or give nonverbal feedback - these place on icon next to your name that your teacher can see.

Share Screen: If your teacher allows, you can share your whole screen or just one application running. Learn more

Click on the chat button to see message sent to the whole class and/or send messages to your teacher or classmates (if allowed). Learn more
