Kids made a night background with crayons and then began making the torn paper collage to create an owl. The students were able to choose the details and colors for the background sky. The owl shape was trace and filled in with their choice of different shades of brown or gray. The children were meticulous and had a blast bringing these owls to life.
HAPPY OCTOBER!

WATCH THE VIDEO AND DRAW AN OWL
THIS IS OWL is a cute story about an owl looking for his place. ENJOY . Remember you can draw you owl anyway you want. I only offer a suggestion for you to follow.
Today we will draw an owl using shapes and color with our crayons using the lightest color first. Layering the colors to add depth. If you finish and are looking for more try layering your colors on a pumpkin drawing. Draw a pumpkin and start with yellow then add orange and maybe even some red lightly where you think the shadows are on the pumpkin. Make sure to add a background too. HAVE FUN !! send me your pics.
