Ms. Tanushree Kannan (Head)

Tanushree, a second-year student of Economics, is an ambitious yet humble individual. Her quick wits along with her managerial skills make her the perfect fit for the role. Her hobbies include reading or watching fiction and travelling. Also, her inquisitiveness towards finance and economics makes her exceptional.

Mr. Om Pathak

(Co-Deputy Head)

Om a second-year Economics student is passionate about finance, books and movies. An optimist at heart, he yearns for new opportunities and loves listening to people with different perspectives. His hobbies include playing football, singing and reading self-help & finance-related books.

Ms. Reshmi Murali

(Co-Deputy Head)

Reshmi, an economics student, is whom one calls a polymath. She has her hands on different and varied activities. She is intrigued by crime and murder, and history is her one true calling. Sarcasm is her tool, and tenacity is her goal. She is a polyglot, loves different languages, and is decidedly a voracious listener.

Priyanka, a third-year B.com (Hons) student, places high importance on hard work and dedication. She enjoys reading books and watching movies with a spooky element to them. She is passionately obsessed with historical monuments and has excellent musical taste.

Mr. Vinay Kumar Singh

A final year student of Statistics, Vinay, is a melophile .His interests range from reading about current affairs to watching web shows. He is also a film buff and loves to watch movies with social commentary.

Ms. Shruti Gupta

A final year student of economics, Shruti, loves to read books and watch inspiring movies. She is a keen observer and a good listener who believes that a healthy discussion can broaden the horizons of knowledge.

Mr. Vivek

(Content Writing)

A Political science student, Vivek is an explorer. He tends to look at things objectively and believes in facts. His diversified realm of curiosity includes the intersection of science and philosophy, existentialism, and anthropology. He has a fascination with classical literature with an inclination towards Russian literature.

A final year student of BA Program, Kanupriya, is an avid watcher of Korean dramas and also has a penchant for books and movies. Her hobbies include reading about global politics and current affairs.

Mr. Aditya Pandey

A scholarly student of Political Science, Aditya, has a positive outlook on life. He is an ardent reader who enjoys traveling to soak up as much knowledge as he can. He employs arguments and conversations as a means of achieving his aim of increasing his wisdom.

Ms. Simran Rawat

A 3rd-year political science student, Simran, is passionate about contributing, even if a part of what she has to society. She is an avid reader and is well-versed in the geopolitics of different countries. She loves to travel around the globe and believes that a keen observer would have unrivaled knowledge.

Mr. Kartik Maan Singh Sisodia

An extrovert by nature, Kartik, is a third year student of Economics. His interests include reading about world politics and events of economic importance. Having participated in several debates and conferences, he believes in the importance of dialogue in conflict resolution.

Mr. Sonu Kumar is an assistant professor at the Department. He has completed his M.A. in Economics from Delhi School of Economics, University of Delhi, New Delhi. He is the Co-convenor of Samvaad. Ms. Bhawna is an assistant professor and the Teacher-in-Charge of the Department. She has completed her M.A. in Economics from Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi. Ms. Isha Gupta is an assistant professor at the Department. She has completed her M.Phil. in Economics from Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi. She is a member of the Core Team of Samvaad.
