The Romanian Treasure Group was founded in December 2018, with a number of 30 people. It participated in 8 multicultural festivals in Vancouver and New Westmister. Due to the pandemic, we could not meet. But we continued the online activity, when time allowed us. We also met a small group, managing to mark some important events related to our country, such as Romania Day, Christmas, Union Day. We try to make known the beauties of folk song and dance, as well as the beauty of sewn costumes by hand, from different areas of the country.
In January 2026, we registered the Group as a non-profit society under the name: Romanian Treasure Society.
