Welcome to P.E & Health online for Te Pā o Rākaihautū!
This will be the platform moving forward through Te Whare Pā Wānanga Tuihono for P.E & Health 2021.
It is so important that pononga keep up to date with their mahi and try to complete as much as they can so that they can still gain credits and knowledge.
I will be in contact with students who miss online classes or do not complete the mahi set for the week.
Communication during this time is the best way to know each whānau situation and what is the best way Te Pā can support.
If you would like to make contact with me about your whānau situation or any concerns or any patai please make sure you email me at whitney.richardson@rakaihautu.com

I am the P.E & Health kaiarahi at Te Pā o Rakaihautū and the kaitiaki of tau 12. My biggest passions are movement and continual learning. If you'd like to know more about me and my professional career feel free to look at my website Whaea Whitney's website. Feel free to contact me at anytime on email: whitney.richardson@rakaihautu.com
During these uncertain times it is important that we continually look after ourselves and one another. Everyone will experience lockdown differently and it is important to ultimately look after our well-being and those in our bubble. I cannot express enough the importance of speaking out to someone to get help if it is needed. Te Pā o Rākaihautū is able to assist whānau where needed so please contact kaimahi if you need assistance.

Kia haumaru te noho!
Health & P.E mahi is available online which will require you to have a device that can connect to the following sites. If you have any issues/ barriers please contact Whaea Whitney ASAP.
Well-being is the most important consideration during these times for pononga and kaiarahi. Communication will be through email and kaiarahi will be replying to emails throughout 9am-3pm. This is to ensure kaiarahi get a break from mahi and are able to balance whānau also. Balance is key to ensuring we do not over do ourselves in different areas.
