Rajagiri School of Engineering and Technology
Rajagiri School of Engineering & Technology (RSET), established in 2001, is a private self-financing college, which had been affiliated to the Mahatma Gandhi University, Kottayam, Kerala from the 2001 to the 2014 admissions, and is affiliated to the A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technological University, Trivandrum, Kerala from the 2015 admissions onwards. The college is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education, New Delhi. Six UG programmes, i.e. B.Tech. Applied Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering, B.Tech. Computer Science & Engineering, B.Tech. Electrical & Electronics Engineering, B.Tech. Electronics & Communication Engineering, B.Tech. Information Technology and B.Tech Mechanical Engineering, have been granted provisional accreditation by NBA. The institute is accredited by NAAC with "A" grade in the second cycle and it is the first and only private engineering colleges in the state to be ranked by National Institute of Ranking Framework (NIRF).

Department of Mechanical Engineering
Established in the year 2012 with an initial intake of 60 students in 2011, the Department of Mechanical Engineering has progressed by leaps and bounds in all respects in a short span of time. Presently the department admits 120 students per year to its undergraduate study programme. The department has attracted highly qualified and experienced personnel from various streams of Mechanical Engineering as its faculty.
Department of Applied Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering
The department of Applied Electronics & Instrumentation (AEI) began in the year 2001 and it aims to develop highly skilled young professionals in the area of electronics, instrumentation and process control. The current intake of students is 60. The department aims at integrating the area of Instrumentation and Signal processing through research activities. Faculty members have the expertise to provide consultancy in areas like artificial intelligence/machine learning, sensors & transducers, LabVIEW and process instrumentation.
