Online resources   EPIC books

Opt out - Parents have the option to create a list of books, keywords, genres or authors that they do not want their child to check out from the libraries. We will put a note on your child's account that will notify the library aide what is/is not allowed. Please email the district librarian at melanconj@rainsisd.org with a list of preferences for your child. If you see a book on a classroom library list that you do not want your child to have access to please e-mail that teacher directly. 

Notifications - You will receive an e-mail each time your child checks out books from the library. This e-email will come from our library system (Follett/Destiny). This is to notify you what your child is currently reading and to maintain transparency.
