Summer Secondary Program
Summer School courses are 55-hour remedial courses or upgrading courses.
Secondary students must have completed the course during the current academic year to attend Summer School.
There will be no new credits through Summer School except through Summer Co-op, e-Learning and for students wishing to take the Ontario Secondary School Literacy Course (OSSLC).
Courses offered in Summer School include English, math, science, history, geography, civics and careers.
Dates:
The program will commence on Thursday, July 3rd, 2024 and run through to Friday, July 31st, 2024.
Time:
Classes will run virtually where students will work 2.5 hours per day using a combination of synchronous (online group video) and asynchronous (independent with teacher support) learning that will be determined by the teacher and communicated to students.
Location:
Secondary Summer School will take place online and is open to all students from both public and separate schools.
How to register:
Students can register by contacting their home school before Friday, June 21st, 2020.
Transportation:
Board transportation is not required as all classes will be conducted online via distance learning.
