The following is the timeline for transition into Reception for September 2022.
Lisa Bennett is the Assistant Headteacher for Early Years who oversees the transition of pupils in and out of Early Years.
By the end of May
Welcome Letter for all and Enrolment Form (new to Raglan pupils only)
By end of June
Evening meetings on 14th June (5.30pm or 7pm) to find out more about starting school, meet your child's teacher, see their classroom and confirm start dates, visit dates and "stay and play" dates. Book your meeting on the letter you received from the school.
By the end of the term in July
A "stay and play" session at school - 27th June 3.30pm to 4.30pm
In September
A "stay and play" session at school on Tuesday 6th September 2022
An individual visit to the school to meet the teacher (for new to Raglan pupils)
Staggered start from 7th September (individual dates will be given)

Take a look at one of our Reception Classrooms. These spacious rooms are set up to facilitate whole class teaching and also independent learning.
We have a wide variety of resources which help cover the Early Years curriculum from writing tables to construction and a reading corner to resources for fine motor skills.
The classrooms all lead to a large outdoor area where the curriculum continues.
