Please ensure your child has appropriate weather for their PE days and after school clubs.
All pupils are expected wear the correct Active Uniform on their PE Days. You can check our Active Uniform expectations below
House coloured t-shirt (Y1-6) or plain white t-shirt
Plain black shorts, tracksuit bottoms, sports skirt or leggings
Plain black trainers or plimsolls.
When it is colder outside - Black skins, tights and an additional plain jumper/hoody are recommended
For Health and Safety, pupils are not permitted to wear jewellery for PE Lessons. Please ensure earrings and necklaces are removed before coming to school. If earrings can’t be removed all day, please ensure your child is able to remove them for PE lessons. Only small stud earrings are allowed in school. (See see below)
Whilst a branded Raglan PE t-shirt is sold in the uniform shops, it is not a requirement, a plain t-shirt from your preferred store is fine.
We encourage pupils to be active everyday, even when they don’t have a PE lesson. To reflect this, pupils are welcome to wear plain black trainers as part of their everyday school uniform. You can see below the type of trainers that are accepted as part of our school uniform.
As our pupils are encouraged to be active everyday this can be a health and safety issue. Necklaces, large stud earrings, hooped or dangly earrings are not part of the School Uniform or Active Uniform and should not be worn.
Following our success offering Year 6 the opportunity to purchase Raglan branded footballs, netballs and rugby balls last year, we are now opening the offer up to all Raglan children in Y3,4,5 and 6. The balls are £10 each with all money raised going towards sports equipment for the schools. Once ordered, please allow up to 7 days for the office to add the payment to your ParentPay Account. As soon as payment is received, we will distribute the balls to your child.
Be aware all balls are Size 4 which is the correct size for 8-14 year olds
