What is Pupil Premium?

Radford Primary Academy is committed to ensuring that every individual child achieves and excels, despite any disadvantage. The Government provides Pupil Premium funding, which is in addition to main school funding, to help address national inequalities between the achievements of children eligible for free school meals or children in care.

It is paid to schools according to the number of pupils who are or have been:
• registered as eligible for free school meals at any point in the last 6 years (£1320)
• a looked after child in the care of the local authority or recently adopted from care (£1900)
• a service child (£300)
