Important notes:

1. You must be a PTA member to volunteer.

2. For the safety of our students, please do not come unless you have an assigned spot.  You will check in with the main office as a listed volunteer then head to the media center for your shift.

3. Signing up means you are covering a full time slot (not just your child’s class).  You will be helping with the register/checkout or helping multiple children find books.

The Nominating Committee is one of the most important groups in the PTA. Its job? To help find and recommend the best people to serve as next year’s PTA officers.  The job is detailed in the NJ PTA handbook, we just need your willingness to follow the procedure and your time. You'll be voted in for the November PTA meeting and then the rest of the work is scattered in February-May 2027.

What you’ll do:

• Meet (virtually or in person) to review procedures and recommendations.

• Talk (confidentially!) about candidates and match them to open roles.

• Present a final “slate” of nominees to the membership before elections (elections are in May).

What we need from you:

• Be a current PTA member.

• Use good judgment, keep discussions private, and be fair.

• Bring enthusiasm for Radburn and a willingness to help strengthen our PTA leadership.

Why it matters:
Strong leaders = a strong PTA. This committee ensures Radburn PTA stays active, effective, and ready to support our kids and school.
