You may be asking what is TexQuest, well…
TexQuest is a statewide digital resources program that provides anytime, anywhere access to high quality, authoritative digital resources to all educators, students, and students' immediate families in Texas K-12 public schools, supported, in part, by appropriations from the Texas State Legislature.
At this time, it is comprised of GALE (18 different products), Britannica School, and EBSCO; loaded with articles, magazines, videos, books, newspapers etc… Yes, the list goes on and on!
...and there is more digital resources which gives us access to an enormous collection; Britannica E-Books (non-fiction ebooks), EBSCO eBooks, SIRS ProQuest (K-8, Research and Homework Help for Younger Researchers), and TeachingBooks.net (Author Interviews, Book Trailers, lesson plans…). Last but far from least EBSCO LearningExpress, for students, teachers, and Community, pack with some many resources to mention... a MUST check it out!
Direct links, usernames and passwords can be found in the documents above (QISD) or family members can contact their student's campus librarians for them. Or you can send home a printed newsletter, hang posters, bookmarks, and make flyers for our students and their parents!
