Unfortunately, Google Apps Add-ons has a limitation of one timer per each hour. Our code will send out 150 emails each hour; schedule next job an hour later.
The time it takes to send highly depending on the email size. If your email contains a lot of high quality graphics or large attachments, it will probably not be able to send unless you reduce the email size. Here is an average time as your reference:
An email with total size of 100KB will take about 1.2 seconds to send. This 100KB included all content such as text, inline images, and attachments.
With Gmail consumer license, total Script runtime is only 6 minutes, therefore, sending 150 emails within 6 minutes of an hour would allow up to approximately 200KB per email. Which means you should draft an email with no more than 200KB total content size.
There will be new plan coming soon that allows you to adjust the batch size from 150 to either more or less, and it also allows you to send larger and more emails. Stay tune.
