The Resource Center, located in Rm 223, will be open Monday through Friday, Periods 2nd through 9th.
Purpose
QSI high school students have the opportunity to earn up to 62 tuition-free college credits from Queens College CUNY. The purpose of the resource center is to provide support for juniors and seniors. Your success is essential and we are here to help you realize your goals. We provide tutoring and the facilitation of peer-based study groups to support you in doing your college coursework, planning support and consultation on college choice and completing your college applications, career/vocational planning and executive functioning services.
Schedule
Appointment sign-ups are highly recommended as time, space and access to individuals and their areas of expertise are limited. Click on the links at the top of the page to sign up for a specific service. Walk ins will only be accepted if space is available and will be on a first come, first serve basis.
In addition to scheduled appointments, this is a quiet space for you to use. Drop in if you need a place to study, are looking for a quiet space to hang out or want to start a study group when midterms and finals approach.
Rules & procedures
Advanced Sign ups are encouraged, as it is first come, first serve.
Upon entering the room, you must sign in using the sign in QR code (on your phone or chromebook) hung around the room. A teacher cannot assist you until you sign in.
It is a shared space so you must be quiet and respectful of others while you are there.
You should come with a question or be able to identify what it is that you need help with.
