Bonanza 2026 Terms and Conditions
Progressive Bonanza Draw 2026
The QC Trust is running a progressive Bonanza Draw in 2026. There will be 5 winners and the tickets cost R250 each.
Entry into the Draw
Buyers can purchase as many entries as they would like. Winners can win more than one prize.
The cut off time for entry into the draw is 16:00 on the day of the draw, Friday 30 October 2026.
Entries are open to: Queen’s College learners, Old Boys and the general public. There is no age or geographic restriction.
Tickets can be purchased: online, at the QCOBA Office, the schools, from QC learners
and some QC Old Boys.
Progressive Draw Format
50% of the value of tickets sold will be allocated to 5 cash prizes.
50% of the value of tickets sold will cover draw expenses with the remainder going to the QC Trust.
The division is as follows for the Bonanza Draw:
Final ticket drawn: 25% (Minimum R100 000)
2nd last: 10% (Minimum R40 000)
3rd last: 7% (Minimum R28 000)
4th last: 5% (Minimum R20 000)
5th last: 3% (Minimum R12 000)
If, for example, 4000 Bonanza tickets are sold, that means 4000 x R250 = R1 000 000 income. Thus the prize money will be 50% or R500 000, split accordingly: R250 000, R100 000, R70 000, R50 000 and R30 000.
Winners
The 5 winners will be selected using an electronic draw program and the winners will be the final 5 tickets remaining once all other tickets have been drawn. The final ticket in the Bonanza Draw will win the 25% prize.
There is no in-person draw attendance, the draw will be broadcast live on the QCOBA Facebook page. Winners will be contacted on the night of the draw or within the following week. Prize winners’ names will be posted online. Prizes will be paid via electronic transfer with banking details provided to the QC Trust by the winners. Any costs associated with monies being transferred internationally will be at the expense of the winner.
Accountants will scrutinise, control and verify the fairness and accuracy of the draw.
The QC Trust reserves the right to postpone the draw date in the event of unforeseen circumstances.
