An award-winning cosplayer who has traveled throughout the USA competing, attending conventions, and judging cosplay and masquerade competitions. Recently, he competed on the first-ever design competition show “Sew Fierce” in Canada, about drag/costume designers. On season 1, he was voted as the fan favorite and was given the chance to return to Season 2. Catch the first EP of season 1 and season 2 on Youtube, and the entire season on OutTv and FuseTv. He continues to create custom looks for private clients and work with top drag talent across the country and internationally. He also continues to focus and advocate for Black/Brown and Queer representation in the cosplay/convention/gaming industry.

Ryesugar, also known as Pj, is a Latina cosplayer and performer based in Central Florida. She has been cosplaying for over 10 years and finds joy in makeup design, photoshoot planning, collaborating with other artists, and upgrading store bought cosplays. 

With a background and career in theater, Ryesugar has also been a performance guest at several conventions across the East Coast as a Jpop dancer and an actress in live theatrical stage productions!

Ryesugar is also incredibly proud to be a member of the LGBTQ+ community, most of her favorite content she creates features her partner! Pj is incredibly grateful to once again be attending QCAC, and cannot wait to meet everyone!

Rei, better known as Heyreii on instagram, is a Florida based cosplayer and member of the LGBTQ+ community. She loves to celebrate and express her identity through the various characters she cosplays, most notably Vi from League of Legends/Arcane.

Rei enjoys fitness and spending her time in the gym whenever possible. If not there you can find her learning and improving her photo editing techniques and skills! Rei is thrilled to be attending QCAC and cannot wait to create more memories!

Chad Van Wye is the founder of Hoku Props, a fabrication studio based in Southern California, and is best known for winning Grand Prize at Twitch Con’s first ever Cosplay Contest in 2016. Chad began his creative journey by studying at Gnomon—School of Visual Effects, Games & Animation in Hollywood, California. There he learned how to 3D model from some of the best in the industry before graduating from the University of California, Riverside, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in business with a focus in arts management. Using this specialization in 3D, he designs armor, props, and customized awards for video game studios and craftsmanship competitions, while utilizing a variety of fabrication techniques to bring those creations to life.

Hoku Props is a huge advocate for inclusivity and ensuring that everyone has access to knowledge. They’re passionate about education and helping the cosplay community grow by offering tutorials, workshops, demonstrations, and educational books. Their first book: Thermoplastics: Cosplay Props, Armor & Accessories, was just released by C&T Publishing.

Parker has been cosplaying since they were 11 years old, and taught themselves how to craft at a young age. They grew up entering cosplay competitions, and admiring the work of their fellow contesters around them, their most recent win being first place in the journeyman division at Ichibancon 2024. They take pride in wig styling, and enjoy the fun aspects of cosplaying, such as performing, cosplaying with friends, and adding their own creative flair to their cosplays.

Hey there, my name is Alice! I was born and raised in New York but currently reside in North Carolina! Ever since I could remember, I always wanted to act and be an actor. However, growing up I was too afraid of not succeeding and supporting my family. So I focused my attention to sports and academics. I currently hold two degrees and quite a few certifications. While yes I could technically save your life at the drop of a hat, or be your therapist, I'd rather leave that to someone else (sorry). What really makes me happy and inspires me every day is acting and the pursuit of this craft. My dream is to one day be a part of someone's childhood memories.
