Welcome to our 5th grade Project Lead The Way Virtual Classroom at Glenside Middle School. STEM encourages you to think outside the box, challenge yourself and explore the possibilities that Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics have to offer.

We, the energetic 5th graders in Mrs. Rebac's class, are here to be challenged, take an active part in our learning, and have FUN. We are curious risk-takers that engage in real-world problem solving, work hard, learn from our mistakes, and inspire others to discover new things every day.

About Mrs. Rebac
Hi my name is Sharon Rebac and I am starting my 31st year of teaching in Queen Bee District 16. I am the Pre-K (Mondays) and 5th grade Project Lead the Way Launch Lead Teacher at Glenside Middle School in Glendale Heights, IL. I have been a PLTW Master Teacher for the last 6 years. I love everything about PLTW. It's been a game changer for my students. PLTW Launch taps into the student's exploratory nature and problem solving skills. The 3 pathways (engineering, biomedical, and computer science) engage students in hands-on activities, projects, and solving real world problems.
I enjoy spending time with my family. We like to visit my parents in Ft. Myers Florida, swim, fish, and hang out at the beach. Our family reunion was at Walt Disney World two years ago. My favorite ride was Avatar Flight of Passage. I enjoy going downtown Chicago with my husband Danny and son Zac. We love to bike ride, dine at outside restaurants, and spend time shopping around town. Photography is a hobby of mine. I have been working on improving my portrait and nature photography skills.
