Access to the venue

Miyazaki is located about 2 hours from Tokyo (Haneda airport) by flight, 1 hour from Osaka (Itami airport) by flight, 4 hours from Hakata (Fukuoka) by express-bus, 4.5 hours from Hakata by train.

The venue, ANA Holiday Inn Resort Miyazaki, is 20 minutes car ride (bus or taxi) from Miyazaki airport (KMI). It takes 30 minutes by bus or 70 minutes by train from Miyazaki train station. You can find more detail about travel below.

There is a possibility to arrange a free pick-up bus between the airport and the venue. Details will be announced to participants later.

International airports with easy access to Miyazaki airport

Participants from overseas should first fly to the international airport below, and transfer to domestic flights.

  1. Haneda Airport (HND)
  2. Narita Airport (NRT)
  3. Kansai International Airport (KIX)
  4. Chubu Centrair International Airport (NGO)
  5. Fukuoka Airport (FUK)

The number of domestic flights from NRT or KIX is small. Please move to HND or Osaka International Airport ITAMI (ITM) to connect the domestic flights.

From Miyazaki Airport

  • By Train (Approx. 70 min.)

Take the main exit of Miyazaki airport and go up the stairs on the right to the JR railway station “Miyazaki Kukou (Miyazaki airport; 宮崎空港)”. You can buy a ticket (400 JPY) at the vending machine. Please take a regular train to “Tayoshi (田吉)” station (one stop), and transit to JR Nichinan (日南) Line going toward Aoshima (青島) station and get off at “Kodomono-kuni (子供の国)” station (5 stops).

  • By bus (Approx. 30 min.)

Take the main exit of Miyazaki airport and there is a bus stop #2 bound for “Nichinan/Obi (日南/飫肥)” on the left. You can buy a ticket at the information counter in the airport building, or you can also pay when you get off the bus (450 JPY). The bus leaves at 08:54, 10:09, 11:39, 12:14, 13:04, 14:24, 15:14, 16:09, 17:49, and 19:14 every day. Please get off at “ANA holiday-inn resort (ANAホリデーインリゾート)” bus stop, where is in front of the venue.

  • By taxi (Approx. 20 min.)

You can find taxies in front of the airport main gate. The cost is approximately 3000 - 4000 JPY (depends on the size of taxi).

Driving Directions from/to Miyazaki Airport (Link)

From Kodomono-Kuni （子供の国）station to Hotel

The venue is a 7-minute walk from “Kodomono-kuni” station.

From Miyazaki station

  • By train (Approx. 40 min.)

Please take JR Nichinan Line bound for Shibushi (志布志) or Aoshima (青島) or Nango (南郷) or Aburatsu (油津) and get off at “Kodomono-kuni (子供の国)” station (7 stops).

  • By bus (Approx. 50 min.)

Please take Miyako bus (宮崎交通バス) going toward Aoshima (青島) or Nichinan (日南) or Aburatsu (油津). You can find bus stops not only at the west gate of Miyazaki station, but also near the downtown area. Please get off at “ANA holiday-inn resort (ANAホリデーインリゾート)” bus stop, where is in front of the venue. You can pay when you get off the bus (670 JPY from Miyazaki station to the venue).

  • By taxi (Approx. 30 min.)

The cost is approximately 4000 -5000 JPY (depends on the size of taxi).
