In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
Praise be to Allah, Lord of the Worlds, and prayers and peace be upon our Prophet Muhammad, his pure family, and his chosen companions. After that...
Language is the vessel of the culture of nations, the record of their civilization and heritage, and the symbol of their identity. Based on preserving the language of the Holy Quran and enriching awareness of the nation’s heritage and civilization, keeping pace with the development of present knowledge, sciences, and arts, anticipating the future and the interaction of civilizations and the diversity of creativity in it, and living with all these changes, the Department of Arabic Language has always borne the responsibility of developing the Arabic Language Program in a manner that is compatible with each stage of its journey until it has now become a crucible in which the energies of the language explode and the components of creativity are fused. In the College of Arts’ belief that Arabic is the pillar of religious and national affiliation, it took the initiative to establish the Department of Arabic Language in 1989 AD, and supported it with an elite group of faculty members who have taken pioneering steps in scientific research, developing curricula, and participating in local seminars and specialized Arabic refereed scientific conferences. And the world, and documenting communication between the student, the professor, the library, technology, and all university facilities in harmony with the educational vision based on the knowledge economy, may the banner of our Arabism and our beloved country Iraq remain high and proud
