With an international and Arab Mutual Cooperation, AlQadisiyah University prepares to Hold the First International Virtual Conference

Under the auspices of the president of Al-Qadisiyah University, Prof.Dr. Khadhim Al-Jubori, College of Biotechnology organizes the First International Virtual Conference under the slogan "By Researching confronts Covid 19 Coronavirus Pandemic".

In speech to the press of the College of Biotechnology , the dean of college of Biotechnology, Assist.prof. Dr.Mohammed Al-Askeri said that holding such conferences and identical academic activities in such critical time affirms the care of the university and College of Biotechnology in actualizing the virtual education with which the University of Al-Qadisiyah recommends all its humane and scientific colleges to adopt in teaching. Therefore, this conference comes to be a continuation of this virtual academic communication.

Dr.Al-Askeri also thanked all the heads of the departments, and members of the scientific and organizing committees working in the conference.

In the same respects, Dr. Ziyad Muta'ab, the head of the scientific committee of the conference said that holding such conference is based on the idea that there is a necessity for co-operation among all the international and Arab academic institutions to give birth to new scientific suggestions for confronting the Covid 19 Coronavirus pandemic through researching dialogues.




College of Biotechnology invents nutrition mould of high protein for astronauts.

Under the auspice of the president of Al-Qadissiya University, Prof.Dr. Khadhim Al-Jubori and supervivion of the dean of college of Biotechnology, Assist.prof. Dr.Mohammed Al-Askeri, a workshop was held entitled "Hardening and Microstructure of High Protein Nutrition Bars Made Using whey Protein Isolate of Milk Protein Concentrate". The lecturer is Assist.prof. Dr.Sami Khadhim Hassan who discovers a new theory which gives an explanation for the mechanism for the hardening of High Protein Nutrition Bars. This discovery was made through knowing the nature of the chemical bond responsible for hardening these protein bars in storage. The manufactured bars are characterized by high features which can be used by astronauts and armies as solid food due to their capacity to keep fresh in storage
