Vexly accesses videos stored on your device only to display and play them in your library, and to save videos you choose to download for offline viewing. These files stay on your device and are never uploaded to our servers.

Video Links You Download:

When you paste a link or use the in-app browser to download a video, Vexly connects to that link to fetch the video file. We do not retain a copy of the links you download or the content itself on our servers.

Device and App Information:

We may automatically collect limited technical information such as device model, operating system version, app version, and crash/performance data to help us maintain and improve the App.

3. Log Data

Vexly requests the following device permissions:

● READ_MEDIA_VIDEO (Android 13+) — required to access and display videos stored on your device so they can be played in the library.

● READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE / WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE (Android 12 and below) — required to read videos already on your device and to save videos you download so you can watch them offline.

● INTERNET — required to power the in-app browser and downloader, and to display ads.

● ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE — required to check your connectivity status, such as whether the device is online.

● ACCESS_WIFI_STATE — required to check Wi-Fi connection status for a smoother download and playback experience.

● MODIFY_AUDIO_SETTINGS — required to support the equalizer and audio-track adjustments during playback.

Videos you play, download, or manage within Vexly are stored and processed directly on your device. We do not upload, store, or retain copies of your personal video files on our servers.

We value your trust in providing us your information, and we strive to use commercially acceptable means of protecting it. Data transmitted by the App (such as diagnostic and advertising data) is encrypted in transit. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
