Privacy Policy — StreamKey: IPTV & M3U Player
Last updated: August 5, 2026
1. Introduction
This Privacy Policy describes how Austin Devs (“we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and handles information in connection with the StreamKey: IPTV & M3U Player mobile application (the “App”). Your privacy is important to us and we are committed to protecting your information while providing a reliable IPTV media player experience. Please read this policy carefully before using the App. By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to the practices described herein.
2. Information We Collect
We collect only the information necessary to operate, maintain, and improve StreamKey. The type of information collected depends on how you use the App and the third-party services integrated into it.
A. Log & Diagnostic Data
When an error or crash occurs, diagnostic information may be automatically recorded. This may include crash logs, error reports, stack traces, device state at the time of the error, performance metrics, and network error information. Log data is used solely to investigate software issues and improve future versions of the App. It is generally anonymous and is not used to personally identify users.
B. Playlist & Stream Information
StreamKey allows users to import their own IPTV playlists, including M3U URLs, local M3U files, single stream URLs, and local video files. These playlists and streaming sources are supplied entirely by the user. We do not collect, monitor, analyze, copy, sell, distribute, or store the television channels, movies, or other media content within user-provided playlists on our servers. Playlist data remains on the user’s device. Users are solely responsible for ensuring they have the legal right to use any playlist or streaming source imported into the App.
C. Personal Information
StreamKey is designed to function without requiring users to create an account or provide personal information. We do not require your name, email address, phone number, or any other identifying information to use the core features of the App.
D. App Performance Analytics
We use Firebase Analytics and Google Analytics to understand how the App is used in aggregate — for example, which features are accessed most often and how the App performs across different devices. This data is anonymized and is not linked to your identity.
E. Advertising Identifier & Device Information
We use the Android Advertising ID along with general device information such as device model and operating system version to deliver relevant ads, measure ad performance, and help our advertising partners detect and prevent fraudulent activity. This is not linked to personally identifying information.
3. Permissions Used by This App
StreamKey requests the following Android permissions, each tied to a specific feature. All permissions are used solely to support the functionality of the App. Users retain control over permissions and may grant or revoke them at any time through device settings, although doing so may affect availability or performance of certain features.
• Internet — Used to establish network connections for streaming IPTV content and accessing online resources required for the App to function.
• Network State — Used to check current network connectivity status to optimize performance and handle connectivity-related issues during streaming.
• Wi-Fi State — Used to access Wi-Fi connection information such as connection status to ensure stable streaming performance.
• Change Wi-Fi State — Used to manage Wi-Fi connectivity settings where required for proper network functionality during streaming.
• Multicast Wi-Fi — Used to enable multicast network traffic for receiving multicast IPTV streams on supported networks.
• Post Notifications (Android 13+) — Used to deliver playback status notifications, service updates, and important alerts. Users may manage or disable notifications through device settings at any time.
4. Third-Party SDKs Used in This App
StreamKey uses the following third-party services to deliver ads, measure performance, and support core functionality. Each provider operates under its own privacy policy, linked below:
• AdMob
• Pangle
• AppLovin
• Meta
Note: this list reflects the SDKs currently integrated into StreamKey. If we add other partners in the future, this section will be updated before that change takes effect.
5. IPTV Player Content Disclaimer
StreamKey functions solely as a media player designed to enable users to import, organize, and play content from sources they provide. We do not host, provide, broadcast, sell, or control any media content, TV channels, movies, series, or streams accessible through the App. Users are solely responsible for the content they access, including ensuring that such access complies with all applicable laws and regulations in their jurisdiction. We do not endorse, verify, or assume any responsibility for third-party content accessed through the App.
6. Service Providers
We may engage third-party companies and individuals to support delivery of the App and its features. These service providers have access to information only as necessary to perform tasks on our behalf and are not permitted to use or disclose it for any other purpose. Reasons we may engage service providers include:
• Delivering and measuring advertising within the App
• Analyzing App usage and performance
• Diagnosing technical issues and supporting App maintenance
7. Advertising
StreamKey is free to use and is supported by advertising delivered through Google AdMob and its mediation partners, including Pangle, Mintegral, AppLovin, Liftoff Monetize, and Meta. You can review or adjust your ad personalization settings at any time through Google’s Ad Settings page. Ad partners may use your advertising ID and general device data to serve relevant ads, governed by their own privacy policies linked in Section 4.
8. Do Not Track Signals
Some web browsers and devices may transmit “Do Not Track” (DNT) signals. As there is currently no universally accepted standard for recognizing or responding to DNT signals, the App does not respond to such signals at this time.

11. Children’s Privacy
StreamKey is not directed at children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children in that age group. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can investigate and remove it promptly, consistent with COPPA and other applicable laws.
12. Data Retention
Playlist and stream data imported by users is stored locally on the device and is not retained by us on any server. Log data collected for diagnostic purposes is kept only as long as necessary to resolve the relevant technical issue. Data processed by our analytics and advertising partners is retained according to each partner’s own retention policy, linked in Section 4.
13. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time as the App evolves or as legal requirements change. Where required by applicable law, we will provide notice of material changes through appropriate means prior to such changes taking effect. We recommend checking this page periodically to stay informed. Your continued use of the App following the effective date of any revised policy constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
