CleanVault: AI Storage Cleaner
Last Updated: July 24, 2026
1. Introduction
This Privacy Policy describes how Qzee Game (“we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and handles information in connection with the CleanVault: AI Storage Cleaner mobile application (the “App”). By downloading or using the App, you agree to the practices described in this policy. Please read it carefully before use.
2. Information We Collect
The App accesses certain data on your device to deliver its core storage management features. Here is a precise breakdown of what is accessed and why:
A. Photos & Images
The App reads image files stored on your device to detect duplicate, similar, blurry, and large photos, and to perform image compression. On Android 13 and above, READ_MEDIA_IMAGES is used. On Android 12 and below, READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE is used as a fallback. On Android 10 and below, WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE is used to save compressed images. All image processing runs on-device. No photos are uploaded, transmitted, or shared with any third party.
B. Videos
The App reads video files stored on your device to detect large videos, perform video compression, and support vault import. On Android 13 and above, READ_MEDIA_VIDEO is used. On Android 12 and below, READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE covers video access. All video processing runs on-device. No videos are uploaded, transmitted, or shared with any third party.
C. Private Vault Content
Photos and videos you choose to move into the private vault are stored in an encrypted, PIN-protected folder on your device. Vault content is never uploaded to our servers, shared with third parties, or accessible outside the App without your PIN.
D. Contacts
The App reads your device contact list to detect duplicate and incomplete contacts. When you confirm a merge or deletion, the App writes changes back to your contacts. Contact data is processed locally on-device and is never uploaded or shared. The App modifies contacts only after your explicit confirmation.
E. App Performance Analytics
We use Firebase Analytics and Google Analytics to understand how the App is used in aggregate — for example, which features are most popular and how the App performs across different devices. This data is anonymized and is not linked to your identity.
F. Advertising Identifier & Device Information
We use the Android Advertising ID along with general device information such as device model and operating system version to deliver relevant ads, measure ad performance, and help our advertising partners detect and prevent fraudulent activity. This is not linked to personally identifying information.
3. Log Data
When an error occurs in the App, we may collect diagnostic information through third-party tools, referred to as Log Data. This may include your device’s IP address, device name, operating system version, App configuration at the time of the error, and other related statistics. Log Data is used solely for debugging and improving App stability and is not linked to your identity.
4. Cookies
The App itself does not use cookies directly. However, some of our third-party advertising and analytics partners may use cookies and similar tracking technologies. You can review each partner’s practices through the privacy policy links in Section 5.
5. Third-Party SDKs Used in This App
CleanVault uses the following third-party services to deliver ads, measure performance, and support core functionality. Each provider operates under its own privacy policy, linked below:
• AdMob
• Pangle
• AppLovin
• Meta
Note: this list reflects the SDKs currently integrated into CleanVault. If we add other partners in the future, this section will be updated before that change takes effect.
6. Permissions Used by This App
CleanVault requests the following Android permissions, each tied to a specific feature:
• Read Media Images (Android 13+) — Used to scan image files for duplicates, blurry photos, large photos, screenshots, and compression. Images are not uploaded or shared.
• Read Media Video (Android 13+) — Used to scan video files for large videos, video compression, and vault video import. Videos are not uploaded or shared.
• Read External Storage (Android 12 and below) — Used as a fallback on older Android versions to access both image and video files for scanning and compression.
• Write External Storage (Android 10 and below) — Used to save compressed images and videos to device storage on Android 10 and below only.
• Read Contacts — Used to detect duplicate and incomplete contacts for review. Contact data is never uploaded or modified without your confirmation.
• Write Contacts — Used to merge or remove duplicate contacts after your explicit approval.
• Foreground Service — Used to keep image and video compression running reliably in the background via WorkManager, with a visible progress notification.
• Foreground Service Data Sync (Android 14+) — Declares the foreground service type used by WorkManager for compression tasks on Android 14 and above.
• Post Notifications (Android 13+) — Used to display compression progress notifications and task completion alerts.
• Internet — Used to load ads, fetch remote configuration, and support analytics and crash reporting.
• Network State — Used to check internet connectivity before making network requests, preventing unnecessary calls during offline usage.
7. Service Providers
We may engage third-party companies and individuals to support delivery of the App and its features. These service providers have access to information only as necessary to perform tasks on our behalf and are not permitted to use or disclose it for any other purpose. Reasons we may engage service providers include:
• Delivering and measuring advertising within the App
• Analyzing App usage and performance
• Diagnosing technical issues and supporting App maintenance
8. Advertising
CleanVault is free to use and is supported by advertising delivered through Google AdMob and its mediation partners, including Pangle, Mintegral, AppLovin, Liftoff Monetize, and Meta. You can review or adjust your ad personalization settings at any time through Google’s Ad Settings page. Ad partners may use your advertising ID and general device data to serve relevant ads, governed by their own privacy policies linked in Section 5.
9. On-Device Processing & Data Minimization
CleanVault is designed so that all sensitive data operations happen entirely on your device. Photos, videos, and vault content are scanned, processed, compressed, and stored locally only. Contact data accessed for duplicate detection is processed on-device. None of this content is uploaded to our servers, transmitted to third parties, or stored outside your device. The only data that leaves your device is anonymized analytics and the advertising ID used by ad partners, as described in Sections 2E, 2F, and 5.
10. How We Protect Your Information
• All photo and video scanning, compression, and vault operations run on-device — no media content is transmitted to our servers.
• Vault content is stored in a PIN-protected local folder and is inaccessible without your passcode.
• Contact data is processed on-device only and never uploaded or shared.
• Analytics data is aggregated and anonymized; it is not linked back to you individually.
• We apply reasonable technical safeguards to protect information that passes through our systems, though no method of digital storage or transmission can be guaranteed completely secure.
11. Your Privacy Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have certain rights regarding your personal information.
If you are located in the European Economic Area (GDPR):
• Request access to the personal data we hold about you
• Ask us to correct inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data where applicable
• Ask us to restrict how your data is processed
• Receive your data in a portable, machine-readable format
• Object to processing carried out under legitimate interest
If you are located in California (CCPA):
• Ask us what categories of personal information we collect and why
• Request the personal information we have collected about you in the past 12 months
• Opt out of the sale of personal information — note that we do not sell personal information
• Request deletion of your personal information, subject to certain legal exceptions
• Exercise any of these rights without facing reduced service or a worse experience
To exercise any of the above rights, contact us using the details in Section 14. We will respond within 45 days of verifying your request, with a possible extension of a further 45 days for complex requests, with notice to you.
12. Children’s Privacy
CleanVault is not directed at children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children in that age group. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can investigate and remove it promptly, consistent with COPPA and other applicable laws.
13. Data Retention
Photos, videos, and vault content are not retained by us at any point — all operations run on-device only. Contact data accessed for duplicate detection is processed on-device and not stored by us. Compressed files are saved directly to your device storage under your control. Log data collected for diagnostic purposes is kept only as long as necessary to resolve the relevant technical issue. Data processed by our analytics and advertising partners is retained according to each partner’s own retention policy, linked in Section 5.
14. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time as the App evolves or as legal requirements change. Any updates take effect as soon as they are posted on this page. Continuing to use the App after a revision constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. We recommend checking this page periodically to stay informed.
