We may collect log data on device events, such as device type, operating system version, app configuration, date/time of use, IP address — only in case of errors or crashes, for the purpose of diagnosing problems and improving the App.

To enable video download, playback, and media management features, the App may request the following permissions:
Internet & Network State — to download videos from URLs you provide, load advertisements or updates.
Storage / Media Access (e.g. access to photos/videos on device) — to read existing media, save downloaded videos/images, display media in the app’s gallery/player, and allow you to manage your downloaded files.
These permissions are used solely for functions that the user expects (download, playback, file management) and not for unsolicited data collection.
The App may use third-party services or SDKs (for analytics, crash reporting, or ads). These SDKs may collect anonymized or aggregated data (device model, OS version, usage metrics) to help us improve performance or serve ads. We do not share personally identifiable data with third parties.
To enable the App’s core features: downloading videos (with user-provided URLs), playing videos, saving and organizing media on the device.
To diagnose, fix, and improve app performance and stability (via log data).
If you accept advertising: to display ads via third-party ad networks (in compliance with their and Google’s policies).
3. Data Storage, Retention & Deletion
All media files you download or save via QuickVid are stored locally on your device.
Log or analytics data (if collected) is managed by third-party SDKs, as per their policies — no personal user data is shared or retained for non-functional purposes.
If you uninstall the App, any locally stored media or app-specific files will be removed from your device.
We use third-party service providers (such as analytics or ad networks) to help deliver and improve the service; these services may have access to anonymized usage or device data only.
We do not share personal or sensitive user data beyond what is required for the App’s core functions or allowed by you.
We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of external websites, services, or ads that you may access via the App.
We strive to use commercially reasonable methods to protect any data transmitted or handled by the App. However, no method of electronic storage or transmission can guarantee 100% security.
The App is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect or store any personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe that your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can delete that information.
By installing and using QuickVid, you consent to the terms of this Privacy Policy. You may revoke permissions (e.g. storage, network) via your device settings, which may disable certain features of the App (like saving videos).
