This Privacy Policy describes Austin Devs Here (“we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and handles information in connection with the FoldNest: Origami Learn & Play mobile application (the “App”). By downloading or using the App, you agree to the practices described in this policy. Please read it carefully before use.

2. Information We Collect

FoldNest is an origami tutorial and puzzle game app. Here is exactly what the App accesses and why:

A. Tutorial & Game Progress Data

Your completed tutorials, unlocked levels, earned coins and stars, saved favorites, and in-app preferences are stored locally on your device. This data is never uploaded to our servers or shared with any third party.

B. Tutorial & Theme Content (Remote Fetch)

The App fetches origami, Kirigami, and 3D Origami tutorial content, theme bundles, images, and configuration data from our remote servers when you browse or download new content. This fetch request does not include any personal data — it is a content download only, similar to loading a webpage.

C. App Performance Analytics

We use Firebase Analytics and Google Analytics to understand how the App is used in aggregate — for example, which tutorial categories are most popular, how users navigate the app, and how it performs across different devices. This data is anonymized and is not linked to your identity.

D. Advertising Identifier & Device Information

We use the Android Advertising ID along with general device information such as device model and operating system version to deliver relevant ads, measure ad performance, and help our advertising partners detect and prevent fraudulent activity. This is not linked to personally identifying information.

3. Log Data

When an error occurs in the App, we may collect diagnostic information through third-party tools, referred to as Log Data. This may include your device’s Internet Protocol (IP) address, device name, operating system version, App configuration at the time of the error, the time and date of occurrence, and other related statistics. Log Data is used solely for debugging and improving App stability and is not linked to your identity.

4. Cookies

The App itself does not use cookies directly. However, some of our third-party advertising and analytics partners may use cookies and similar tracking technologies. You can review each partner’s practices through the privacy policy links in Section 5.

5. Third-Party SDKs Used in This App

FoldNest uses the following third-party services to deliver ads, measure performance, and support core functionality. Each provider operates under its own privacy policy, linked below:

6. Permissions Used by This App

FoldNest requests the following Android permissions, each tied to a specific feature:

• Internet — Used to fetch tutorial content, theme bundles, and configuration data from our servers, and to load advertising content. The App does not use this permission to access personal files, photos, contacts, or messages.

• Network State — Used to check internet connectivity before making content requests, display appropriate offline messages when no connection is available, and optimize ad loading reliability.

7. Service Providers

We may engage third-party companies and individuals to support delivery of the App and its features. These service providers have access to information only as necessary to perform tasks on our behalf and are not permitted to use or disclose it for any other purpose. Reasons we may engage service providers include:

• Delivering and measuring advertising within the App

• Delivering tutorial content, themes, and in-app resources

• Analyzing App usage and performance

• Diagnosing technical issues and supporting App maintenance

8. Advertising

FoldNest is free to use and is supported by advertising delivered through Google AdMob and its mediation partners, including Pangle, Mintegral, AppLovin, Liftoff Monetize, and Meta. You can review or adjust your ad personalization settings at any time through Google’s Ad Settings page. Ad partners may use your advertising ID and general device data to serve relevant ads, governed by their own privacy policies linked in Section 5.

9. On-Device Data & Content Downloads

FoldNest stores all user progress, favorites, coins, stars, and preferences locally on your device only. None of this data is uploaded to our servers. When you browse or download new tutorials and themes, the App fetches content from our servers — this request contains no personal data. Internet connectivity is required only for content fetching and advertising; core App features work with previously downloaded content even when offline.

10. How We Protect Your Information

• Game progress, favorites, and preferences are stored locally on your device and never uploaded to our servers.

• Content fetch requests contain no personal data.

• Analytics data is aggregated and anonymized; it is not linked back to you individually.

• We apply reasonable technical safeguards to protect information that passes through our systems, though no method of digital storage or transmission can be guaranteed completely secure.

11. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have certain rights regarding your personal information.

If you are located in the European Economic Area (GDPR):

• Request access to the personal data we hold about you

• Ask us to correct inaccurate data

• Request deletion of your data where applicable

• Ask us to restrict how your data is processed

• Receive your data in a portable, machine-readable format

• Object to processing carried out under legitimate interest

If you are located in California (CCPA):

• Request the personal information we have collected about you in the past 12 months

FoldNest is rated for ages 3 and above and is designed to be suitable for all ages including children. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under the age of 13. The App does not require users to create an account or submit any personal information to use its core features. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can investigate and remove it promptly, consistent with COPPA and other applicable laws.

13. Data Retention

Game progress, favorites, coins, stars, and preferences are stored locally on your device and remain there until you uninstall the App or clear its data. We do not retain copies of this data on our servers. Log data collected for diagnostic purposes is kept only as long as necessary to resolve the relevant technical issue. Data processed by our analytics and advertising partners is retained according to each partner’s own retention policy, linked in Section 5.

14. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time as the App evolves or as legal requirements change. Any updates take effect as soon as they are posted on this page. Continuing to use the App after a revision constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. We recommend checking this page periodically to stay informed.
