1. Introduction
This Privacy Policy describes how MBit Music (“we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and handles information in connection with the ArcanaVeda: Tarot & Horoscope mobile application (the “App”). By downloading or using the App, you agree to the practices described in this policy. Please read it carefully before use.
2. Information We Collect
ArcanaVeda collects the following types of information to deliver personalized tarot readings, horoscopes, and Vedic astrology content:
A. Onboarding & Personalization Data
During the initial app setup, we collect the following details you provide voluntarily to personalize your readings: • Relationship status — used to tailor love and romance tarot readings • Interests and areas of focus — used to prioritize relevant reading categories • Date, time, and place of birth (birth chart data) — used to generate your Natal Chart (Janma Kundli), Vedic horoscope, Kundali compatibility reports, and birth-chart-personalized tarot readings This information is stored locally on your device and is used only within the App to generate personalized content. It is not uploaded to our servers or shared with any third party for marketing or profiling purposes.
B. Tarot & Astrology Reading Activity
Your reading history, saved spreads, card draws, and horoscope views are stored locally on your device. This data is not uploaded to our servers.
C. Remote Content Fetching
When you open the App, it fetches tarot card data, card meanings, horoscope content, and reading material from our remote servers. This request may include your device’s IP address and standard technical information necessary to deliver the content. We do not use this information to build personal profiles or share it for any purpose beyond delivering the requested content.
D. Text-to-Speech (TTS) Narration
The App uses Android’s built-in Text-to-Speech engine to narrate tarot card readings and interpretations. TTS processing happens entirely on your device using the system’s built-in speech synthesis. No audio is recorded, captured, or transmitted.
E. App Performance Analytics
We use Firebase Analytics and Google Analytics to understand how the App is used in aggregate — for example, which reading categories are most popular and how the App performs across different devices. This data is anonymized and is not linked to your identity.
F. Advertising Identifier & Device Information
We use the Android Advertising ID along with general device information such as device model and operating system version to deliver relevant ads, measure ad performance, and help our advertising partners detect and prevent fraudulent activity. This is not linked to personally identifying information.
3. Log Data
When an error occurs in the App, we may collect diagnostic information through third-party tools, referred to as Log Data. This may include your device’s Internet Protocol (IP) address, device name, operating system version, App configuration at the time of the error, the time and date of occurrence, and other related statistics. Log Data is used solely for debugging and improving App stability and is not linked to your identity.
4. Cookies
The App itself does not use cookies directly. However, some of our third-party advertising and analytics partners may use cookies and similar tracking technologies. You can review each partner’s practices through the privacy policy links in Section 5.
5. Third-Party SDKs Used in This App
ArcanaVeda uses the following third-party services to deliver ads, measure performance, and support core functionality. Each provider operates under its own privacy policy, linked below:
• AdMob
• Pangle
• AppLovin
• Meta
Note: this list reflects the SDKs currently integrated into ArcanaVeda. If we add other partners in the future, this section will be updated before that change takes effect.
6. Permissions Used by This App
ArcanaVeda requests the following Android permissions, each tied to a specific feature:
• Internet — Used to fetch tarot card data, card meanings, horoscope content, and reading material from our servers, and to load advertising content. The App does not access personal files, photos, contacts, microphone, camera, or location through this permission.
• Network State & Wi-Fi State — Used to check internet connectivity before making content requests and to display appropriate offline messages when no connection is available.
• Post Notifications — Used to send your daily tarot reading reminders and horoscope alerts. Notifications are only sent after you grant permission, and can be disabled at any time from your device settings.
• Schedule Exact Alarm — Used to deliver your daily reading reminder and horoscope notification at the exact time you select. This ensures your reminder arrives precisely when you want it, not delayed by battery optimization.
7. Service Providers
We may engage third-party companies and individuals to support delivery of the App and its features. These service providers have access to information only as necessary to perform tasks on our behalf and are not permitted to use or disclose it for any other purpose. Reasons we may engage service providers include:
• Delivering tarot content, horoscope data, and Vedic astrology reading material
• Delivering and measuring advertising within the App
• Analyzing App usage and performance
• Diagnosing technical issues and supporting App maintenance
8. Advertising
ArcanaVeda is free to use and is supported by advertising delivered through Google AdMob and its mediation partners, including Pangle, Mintegral, AppLovin, Liftoff Monetize, and Meta. You can review or adjust your ad personalization settings at any time through Google’s Ad Settings page. Ad partners may use your advertising ID and general device data to serve relevant ads, governed by their own privacy policies linked in Section 5.
9. Birth Chart & Personal Data Statement
ArcanaVeda collects your date, time, and place of birth to generate personalized Vedic astrology charts, Kundali reports, and birth-chart-personalized tarot readings. This birth data is stored locally on your device only. It is never uploaded to our servers, sold to third parties, or used for any purpose other than generating your in-app readings and charts. You may clear this data at any time by uninstalling the App or clearing app data from your device settings. We do not require you to provide this information to use the App — it is collected only if you choose to complete the onboarding personalization flow.
10. Entertainment Purpose Statement
ArcanaVeda is an entertainment and personal reflection application. All tarot readings, horoscope predictions, astrology charts, Kundali reports, numerology insights, and other content provided through the App are for entertainment and personal guidance purposes only. None of the content in this App is scientifically proven or constitutes professional medical, legal, financial, psychological, or relationship advice. Users should exercise their own judgment and consult qualified professionals for decisions affecting their health, finances, legal matters, or personal relationships.
11. How We Protect Your Information
• Birth chart data, relationship status, and onboarding preferences are stored locally on your device only and are never uploaded to our servers.
• Reading history and saved spreads are stored locally on your device only.
• TTS narration is processed on-device by Android’s built-in speech engine. No audio is recorded or transmitted.
• Analytics data is aggregated and anonymized; it is not linked back to you individually.
• We apply reasonable technical safeguards to protect information that passes through our systems, though no method of digital storage or transmission can be guaranteed completely secure.
12. Your Privacy Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have certain rights regarding your personal information.
If you are located in the European Economic Area (GDPR):
• Request access to the personal data we hold about you
• Ask us to correct inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data where applicable
• Ask us to restrict how your data is processed
• Receive your data in a portable, machine-readable format
• Object to processing carried out under legitimate interest
If you are located in California (CCPA):
• Ask us what categories of personal information we collect and why
• Request the personal information we have collected about you in the past 12 months
• Opt out of the sale of personal information — note that we do not sell personal information
• Request deletion of your personal information, subject to certain legal exceptions
• Exercise any of these rights without facing reduced service or a worse experience
To exercise any of the above rights, contact us using the details in Section 14. We will respond within 45 days of verifying your request, with a possible extension of a further 45 days for complex requests, with notice to you.
13. Children’s Privacy
ArcanaVeda is not directed at children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children in that age group. The App collects birth date information for astrological chart generation purposes only. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can investigate and remove it promptly, consistent with COPPA and other applicable laws.
14. Data Retention
Birth chart data, relationship status, onboarding preferences, and reading history are stored locally on your device and remain there until you uninstall the App or clear its data. We do not retain copies of this data on our servers. Scheduled notification settings are stored locally and cleared when you uninstall the App. Log data collected for diagnostic purposes is kept only as long as necessary to resolve the relevant technical issue. Data processed by our analytics and advertising partners is retained according to each partner’s own retention policy, linked in Section 5.
15. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time as the App evolves or as legal requirements change. Any updates take effect as soon as they are posted on this page. Continuing to use the App after a revision constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. We recommend checking this page periodically to stay informed.
