The vision of the QHS Counseling Program supports the vision of Quitman High School.   It is our vision that all QHS students will be empowered to confidently and successfully transition into post-secondary and career opportunities and become positive, contributing members of society.

The mission of QHS Counseling Program is to provide all students with comprehensive and equitable services, in collaboration with school staff, administration, parents, community, and post-secondary partners, which address their academic, career, and personal/social development, and empower them with the skills needed to enter an ever-changing, global workforce.
