Large-scale Painting Activity 大型繪畫活動

The large-scale painting activity of “2020-2021 QOS Fringe Festival” has come to the perfect ending. This activity is a part of the “Healthy School Programme”.

It is a pleasure for us to invite two artists, Ms. Cecilia Ho and Mr. Chan Chi Kit here to help students work on two large pieces of paintings together. Students gained inspiration from school life and their growth path and put it into the art pieces which are painted in pop art graffiti style. The artists host two workshops to give guidance on how to explore the ideas and make a draft. At last it took three days to seal the paintings.

These works are handed-painted by students from Form 3 to Form 6, featuring manga-style bold lines and vibrant colors. We should give credits to all of them, especially those from Form 5 Visual Art class and Form 3 A class. There are about 150 students participating in this activity and gained over 300 visits.

We are amazed by the young artists’ fantastic imagination and creativity. The paintings reflect happiness and sour of their school life, and what an ideal school is like in their eyes. For example, they could wear their own-designed school uniform, there are ice cream van and snack bar in the campus, and so on.

Soon these works would be framed and on display in campus. Please stay tuned! Now we are going to share with you some photos of this activity.

「伊中中藝穗節2020-2021」大型繪畫活動已經圓滿結束。活動是「健康校園計劃」(Healthy School Programme)的其中一個項目。

活動邀請到藝術家Cecilia Ho及Chan Chi Kit帶領同學創作兩張大型繪畫，創作主題以校園生活和成長為主，繪畫風格為(Pop Art Graffiti Style) 「普普藝術塗鴉風格」。藝術家為同學主持兩次工作坊，協助同學意念構思和起稿，之後共花三天去完成上油的程序。

這兩幅畫主要由中三至中六的同學手工繪製，由漫畫風格的大膽線條和鮮豔的色彩組合而成。草稿主要由中五視藝班和三A班同學繪製，整個活動約有150位學生參與，參與人次超過300。

同學的意念天馬行空，有反映自己真實校園生活的喜怒哀樂，也有表達自己理想中的校園，例如自行設計校服、校園中有雪糕車和小食檔等等。

之後我們會將此兩幅畫裝裱，掛在校園內，供大家欣賞。請大家密切留意。
