We were keeping it cool in preschool this week!! We had such a great week celebrating friendship as we danced, sang, and played together! The more we get together, the happier we'll be! We read the book The Rainbow Fish and water-colored our own rainbow fish - sharing is caring! We also enjoyed Chicka-Chicka Boom-Boom and painted our handprints for our Chicka-Chicka Boom-Boom tree project! We also read some other friendship & school books like Baby Shark Goes to School and Little Blue Truck books too! We are really doing a great job learning our classroom routines, being kind to each other and sharing! It is so much fun making new friends! We are loving our movement songs - especially The Tooty-Ta!- and learning our circle time songs too! The kids are loving the beautiful weather playing outside this week and music class was a big hit with the color scarves! They have been enjoying centers like Play-Doh, color sorting crayons, gears, magnets, Legos, magna-tiles white boards, and candy construction!

This upcoming week we will introduce the letter A, number 1, color red and the circle shape and do lots of activities. We will finish our Chicka-Chicka Boom Boom project by painting a trunk and adding foam sticker letters to our tree. It's going to be an apple-solutely great week as we start the apple fun and celebrate that God Made Me with our special All About Me bag activity!
