About the teacher

While I've enjoyed teaching 5th grade for over seven years at Queen of Angels School, I'm looking forward to calling 8th grade my new home!! My teaching career began after graduating from Villanova University with a Bachelor of Arts degree. I assisted in a preschool Montessori classroom at Norwood Fontbonne Academy while completing my Masters in Education at Chestnut Hill College. Since then I’ve taught in the Archdiocese of Philadelphia in some capacity for over 17 years.   I’ve taught 7th and 8th grade as well as the preschool level. I've enjoyed coaching my children and volunteering at their respective schools. When I'm not in school, I enjoy spending time with my husband Will and our four children. We love spending time outdoors at our local trails and parks and we are Philadelphia sports fans.  I am a true believer in Catholic education and I look forward to instilling these values in the students at Queen of Angels School.
