Communication Calendar

**Please note that as the children are becoming accustomed to the school routines during the month of September, gentle reminders of appropriate behaviors are all that are necessary for any infractions. On October first, the full calendar will be in effect for all kindergarteners. 

A behavior/effort calendar has been developed and will be used with the children. Parents are asked to review the calendar nightly, initial behavior/effort codes, and sign the calendar weekly. 

This calendar is a communication tool for you to know if your child had any out of the ordinary behavior problems on a given day. Try not to focus too much on "Did you get any numbers today?" rather talk about all that happened during the day and brainstorm different scenarios.
