The original story I had planned looked a lot different than what I ended up with.
Originally, it was going to be about a monk traveling alone with one other person from town to town to find the person who murdered their family. Luckily, I changed it to a more light-hearted story.
Before I even sent a proposal for my capstone, I had considered making it a comic, but animating it got me way more excited!

The script took longer than I wanted. I thought it would take me up to 3 days max, but it ended up eating a whole 3 weeks!
*This version of the script includes cut content.
I did not enjoy doing storyboards. It was tedious, and it felt like an animatic would be better, but I stuck to it and finished them! It ended up helping a lot more in the process.
Late into the project I actually lost half of the storyboards and I had to redo all of the lost ones.
Casting was a hassle. I wanted to ask the people in my theater class and I did. I had gotten a lot of responses but only 4 people actually sent me their demo.
This is what I used to source out my voice actors, along with a Google form.
My friend Kianna wanted to do a logo for it, and I didn't wanna turn her down, so I let her do it! Turns out it was an amazing choice and I couldn't have been happier with the final design!

I wanted to display as much of our art department as possible in this project, so I asked artists to draw me something for the ending. Below is what I used to recruit.
I only ended up with 4 out of the 6 I needed.
I used the Queen Creek Library's study rooms to record both Ja'Maul and Kylie's lines. Braden sent in his lines through his email.
Here is the artworks I received. I could not be happier with them. They all portray characters that have/will be in the future comic.
