Paul Taffanel
I found this piece through my lessons teacher. For my NAU audition I had to pick a piece from the French Composers Book and this is the piece that she picked for me. I performed it for solo and ensemble, my audition, and my recital! This is one of my favorite pieces that I have ever performed, it is a completely different style from what I am used to playing and was an absolute joy to learn.

About this piece:
This is another piece that my lessons teacher helped me find and it was also for an audition. I played this piece for my audition for ASU's school of music as well for my recital. This one was the easiest for me to learn but still had its challenges. It is more demanding on the stylistic side of things rather than the technical side.

About this piece:
I found this piece through a friend of mine. I was over at her house and we were practicing when she asked me if I wanted to sight read it with her. After playing through it clumsily I wanted to know what it was supposed to sound like, so I looked it up on youtube and listened to it. After hearing it I fell in love with the piece and knew that I wanted to perform it somewhere. Fast forward a year or so, Danika asked me to do a duet with her for solo and ensemble and I did not hesitate to seize the opportunity to play this gorgeous tune.

About this piece:
Once again, my lessons teacher helped me pick out this piece for my college auditions. This is by far my favorite one that I played for my recital. It is written in a completely different style than anything I have played before which made it fun to learn. In the recording unfortunately fatigue began to kick in so my performance was not what it could have been. After playing for nearly thirty minutes straight without a break, I was not playing as well as I did in the beginning of my recital.
