Students from all registered schools can apply, participants must be in grades 9-12 (years 10-13) within the academic year 2023-2024.
Once the school is registered, each participating school will be sent a link to share with their students to submit their proposal. The school should appoint a mentor who is available to be a chaperone for their students if they are invited to Qatar. The mentor should be able to provide a workshop to students in areas related to the summit or other areas to upskill students more details will be sahred at a later date.
Once you have uploaded your video pitch, you will be informed if you have been successful in the first round within 2 weeks after the deadline has passed. (Round 1 Deadline: 30th March 2024)
Participants may apply as a team of up to two members only.
If your project is selected, the school will need to pay a registration fee of QR 2000 per project. All other expenses including flights accommodation, excursions in Qatar, 2 meals per day and transportation will be funded by sponsors of the event.
*Up to a maximum of 25 projects will be selected to proceed to round two. 15-20 projects will be selected to proceed unto round three. Up to 20 projects will be invited to present at the Summit in Qatar.

One entry per team/individual, each school can submit up to a maximum of 2 entries.
If successful in the video pitch ( Round 1) you will proceed to Round 2 where you will have 3-4 months to develop your idea and begin collecting data.
If successful you will proceed unto round 3 where you will have up to 6 months to further develop your project, collect data and complete your findings.
Invitations to the Summit in Qatar will be sent out during the second stage pending successful completion of this final round and submission of the final report.
The video pitch will be submitted via a link on google forms, details of this will be sent out after successfull registration of the school.
Managebac will be used to submit the report during round 2 and 3, a detailed instructional video will be sent out to participants that proceed to round 2, this will explain how the platform works and how to submit your report.
Round 1 : Submission deadline is March 30, 2024 (successful participants will be informed on 5th April 2024)
Round 2 : Report Submission deadline is August 15th 2024 (Successful participants will be informed on 1st September 2024)
Round 3: Final report submission deadline is 05th January 2025 (Invitations to attend the Summit will be sent by 01st November 2024)

There is no limit on your word count, however the initial report in round 2 should not exceed 10 pages, the final report in round 3 should not exceed 20 pages.
You will not be able to make any edits after the deadline has passed, please make sure you have worked with your school mentor before submitting.
Absolutely! A variety of multimedia will only strengthen your submission.
Only the first video submission will be accepted.
In round 2 and 3 editing the report is possible before the deadline. After the deadline and/or submitting the report no further edits will be allowed.
