I am Faiz Ur Rehman, Professor of Economics at the Institute of Business Administration (IBA), Karachi. My research focuses on applied economics, particularly development economics, political economy, and the economics of conflict.

I hold a PhD in Economics from the Universities of Bologna, Hamburg, and Erasmus Rotterdam, awarded through the Erasmus Mundus fellowship as part of a joint doctoral program. Before joining IBA in 2021, I served as an Assistant Professor at Quaid-i-Azam University, Islamabad.
